I spent $11.85 on 3 tomato plants from Carol Wright Gifts and what I got was 2 half-dead very small plants and a single small stem with a few roots on it. They looked like they ripped some seedlings out of puts, threw them into plastic wrap and let them sit in a warehouse for a week before sending. DO NOT BUY TOMATOES FROM CAROL WRIGHT GIFTS.
Has anyone bought Tomatoes from Carol Wright Gifts?
I had the same probelm last year with some Tomatoe Trees that Carol Wright was selling. They were pure trash! My dad (81) kept begging for them so I sent away for them as a surprise for him. They went straight into the trash !
On a side note I purchased the Patio Princess Tomatoes from Brurpee and they were FANTASTIC ! They arrived huge and strong and well packed. WE got tons of tasty tomtoes from just 3 plants !
Reply:I haven%26#039;t bought anything from Carol Wright. My advice to you is complain and see if they will return your money. Also if you are buying plants through the mail it is always better to pay a little more and use a reputable seed and plant company like Burpee,Jung, or Select Seeds. They usually have some kind of guarantee.
Reply:The best place to check mail order gardening sites is www.davesgarden.com click on garden watchdog then scroll and chose the first letter or company%26#039;s name.
It is a great gardening site and the garden watchdog mail order reviews are very valuable. Tons of reviews from actual users.
I had same problem with Gardeners Choice last year and somehow found davesgarden. What a resource!!!
