How often should i water my outdoor plant?

I got this plant as a gift from a gardening centre when i bought a bouquet of flowers.... they told me its an outdoor plant but i forgot to ask how often to water it ! :/

Im keeping it on the outer side of my window... and it sees quite abit of sun.... I also live in Malta which is quite a hot country.

Here%26#039;s a picture of my plant and where i keep it... i have no idea what its called so maybe the photo will help!

Calibrichoa or Million bells is a fabulos plant used as a filler or a spiller in containers, Also it has been used as edging plantings on raised flower beds, It also makes a beautiful hanging Basket. Not knowing where u live I cannot say it will hold on for more than one year but here where I live I have folks coming into the nursery all the time telling me their million bell survival stories. LOL.

Their culture is pretty simple, Water when dry and feed regularly. You can pinch to promote a bushire plant, but it%26#039;s self branching habit makes this fairly unnecessary. The plants and flowers hold up to a remarkable amount of rain, with little damage, it even may helpp deadhead. Also a unnecessary step.

You have recieved one of the best plants for someone with a minimum of plant knowledge, go forth and be beautiful

Reply:Looks like maybe mandevilla. Water it throughly (%26#039;til it drains through) when the soil starts to get dry. Don%26#039;t overwater. As it gets bigger, you may want to re-pot it and let it climb over your ironwork.
Reply:Go to Lowes or Home Depot and get an Aqua Globe. You fill it with water, stick it in the dirt and water is released from the globe only when the plan needs it.
Reply:Rule of thumb...keep moist..never let it dry out and don%26#039;t soak it.
