Shamrock plant?

I just got a shamrock plant as a gift. Can I repot this plant from the plastic store container it came in, even though it is flowering?

A shamrock plant is actually oxalis. Oxalis regnellii atropurpurea are propagated by the division of the bulbs. The key is to wait until the bulbs are at the end of a dormant cycle. Then take them out of the pot, and remove the small side bulbs. Replant these in shamrock compost just under the surface of the soil and water well. If allowed to just be put in a flowerbed, they become invasive and are considered like a weed.
Reply:Yes,and if you need a ground cover in a space that grows very little it is a good plant for that,doesn%26#039;t get very tall and will cover and spread by itself with very little or no attention except water from time to time.

I repotted mine and it seems fine so far. I have only had it for 4 days and its doing great!
