my father wants to buy his new thing a housewarming gift. she likes plants so he wants to get her a plant. what kind is best as housewarming?

What kind of plant is best as housewarming gift?
Step 1:

Give the Living It may sound generic, but giving a plant as a house warming gift is generally a good idea. People typically love plants and they are decorative so they serve a dual purpose. The key to selecting the right plant to give, depends solely on how well you know the recipient. If they have a green thumb, by all means get something exotic. However, if they don%26#039;t have a green thumb or you don%26#039;t know if they are good with plants select something heart and basic. Some great plant ideas for a house warming gift would be bamboo, bonsai, money trees, mini herb gardens or a dried wreath for their new front door.

Step 2:

Go Personal Giving any gift that is personalized is a great idea. Many things can be inscribed or printed with someone%26#039;s name now and people usually love the thought put in to a gift like this. Of course you have standard personalized items like plaques and signs, but unless you know for sure they will want to hang them steer clear of these items. Seeking out personalized items that are more useful is better. Getting things that can be personalized, yet useful is really the way to go. Many companies make useful items that can be personalized like door mats, cups, coasters, aprons and stationary. Be creative and check the Internet you will surprised at what you can find.

Step 3:

Unique Needs Every now and then we come upon a situation that is more unique and it can lend to a more creative gift giving opportunity. For instance, a single woman has purchased her own home, possibly perfect gift%26quot;%26gt;the perfect gift for her might be a basic tool kit. Perhaps your child is flying the nest for the first time, consider a small appliance like a one cup coffee maker or small toaster oven. Maybe your parents have retired and are scaling down their home, painting of their original home may be the perfect idea. Look for an individual need and read between the lines, you may find the perfect gift.

Step 4:

Of course, if all else fails giving a gift card can work. You can select a gift card from a store you know they like or you can get one from a general department store. To broaden there capabilities for use you can also get a Visa or Mastercard gift card they can use anywhere.
Reply:I personally think orchids are just gorgeous and there are so many beautiful varieties to choose from.
Reply:The asian %26quot;money plant%26quot; is great because it is nearly impossible to kill and it just thrives with minimal effort. That is why they call it the %26quot;money%26quot; plant, because they wish earning money was that easy, lol.

It is a green leafy plant with a palm shaped five leaves thing on each branch. It is often sold in an asian inspired pot.
Reply:How about an aloe plant. I have one. They are so easy to take care of and if you ever have a scratch or burn, you just cut the leaf in half for the healing aloe.
Reply:Thing was funny....I thought you didn%26#039;t like her or something!!!

A Spider plant, or any that doesn%26#039;t need a lot of light.
Reply:I love those %26quot;Lucky bamboo%26quot; plants--and they come is some pretty cool planters. I had this one that was braided, and it looked very cool! They are also very easy to take care of as well.

Also, if she likes fish, you can get a large vase, put rocks (or colored marbles) on the bottom, leaving a bit of room for a beta fish to swim in. Place the bamboo in the rocks, and fill with water. Then get a pretty beta fish and voila!
